Harris Deller is interested in contradictions and dualities; paradox, juxtaposition, yin and yang. Using shapes, forms, colors, and textures, he is drawn to abstraction as a way to uncover and make visual those phenomenon. Join us as we explore his extensive career as a ceramic artist and his personal approach to clay as a medium.

In his workshop, Deller will construct pottery forms while demonstrating wheel throwing and slab building techniques. He will arrange and activate geometric shapes and patterns and demonstrate carving, incising, inlaying and under-glaze decals. Lecture is free and open to the public; workshop requires pre-registration. Save your space through our website!
