One of Your Best “Any Day” or Special Holiday Destinations
Whether your visit to New Harmony is a family trip you’ve planned in advance or an impromptu “let’s just jump in the car and go” type of getaway, there’s always a great reason to come. Year-round, you’ll find a roster of fun, engaging, and interesting New Harmony events.
Partake in a spirited Haunted New Harmony Ghost Walk or paranormal investigation, check out featured art exhibits and opening events at our galleries and museum, attend topical and cultural lectures, readings, and presentations at various locations, participate in a cooking class or watch a culinary demonstration, make your own masterpiece in the art glass fusion studio, join in our joyful Christmas in New Harmony, watch artists capture the essence of New Harmony during the annual First Brush of Spring plein air paintout, or discover any of the other colorful events and things to do in New Harmony.
Our festivals are regional favorites. June 12-13, 2021 the New Harmony Antique Show will return. Festivals in Utopia celebrate and embrace a plethora of art forms and artists and, in some cases, antiques. In addition to the upcoming Antique Show, we have Kunstfest (always the third weekend in September), Arts in Harmony (the third weekend in October), and Christmas in New Harmony (the first week of December).
Whether buying or browsing, you’ll find fine art pieces, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, books, poetry, woven and other handmade textiles, specialty foods, soaps, candles, plus demonstrations on cooking and crafting, as well as entertainment featuring dance, music, and more – all offered in the heart of New Harmony.
